About Polyresonance
The goal of Polyresonance is to combine philosophy, science, mathematics, history, music and art in order to create a new understanding of the world. The idea is that greater truths emerge from the synthesis of multiple perspectives viewing the same phenomena.
Some of the greatest minds in history used this technique to engage with both the natural world and human society, to powerful effect. Among them were the Ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle, Italian Renaissance painter Leonardo da Vinci, and American inventor/founding father Benjamin Franklin. These figures were known as polymaths- individuals who actively pursued an array of varied interests. Such simultaneous interests often coalesced to form new disciplines and spawn an abundance of creative works, including scientific experiments, technological designs, works of fine art and political/economic theories.
Polyresonance strives to retain and celebrate the cultural spirit of polymathy, and its critical role in the progression of our civilization.
